When Nathan regained consciousness he was on the plane. He was lying on the couch covered with a blanket.
Mark was sitting in a chair on the other side of the plane monitoring him.
"What happened?" Nathan sat up. Mark got a bottle of water from the fridge and handed it to him.
"You fainted," Mark said with a smirk. Nathan looked at his hands and arms.
"Don't worry, we did not get the tattoo," Mark assured him.
"How long till we get to the state?" Nathan asked.
"Let me ask the pilot," Mark walked over to the cockpit to find out.
Nathan watched as a dark smoke poured out of the vents.
"Guys, I think there is something wrong with the plane," he got up and walked towards the cockpit too.
The smoke forced its way into him through his mouth. Nathan choked as he gasped for air.
"You said something is wrong with the plane?" Mark asked when he returned.
"Never mind, I think I am just a bit still nervous," Nathan sat back down on the couch.
"Okay, we would be landing any moment now," Mark updated him and walked away.
Nathan blinked and his eyes turned black. He blinked again and it reverted to normal.
The plane landed and they got in a car Mark had prepared prior. As they drove into the manor compound. The possessed Nathan smiled.
Mark stopped at the entrance and Nathan opened the door and walked out. He tried entering the house but he could not.
He looked up then down, and then he saw it. A devil's trap in the concrete beneath and ceiling above him. He chuckled and vomited the smoke.
He then collapsed. Mark, saw the demon smoke leave and he ran to Nathan. He helped him up and walked him inside the house.
Nathan was still disoriented.
"What happened?" Clayton helped Mark carry him inside.
"He was possessed by a demon," Mark explained.
"What did it want?"
"It did not say,"
"How long was he possessed for?" Mark shrugged and shook his head.
Clayton sighed.
"Where is Felix? He should not have let this happen. He should be wearing his necklace," Clayton rumbled.
'Liam just died and everything is falling apart,' Clayton thought then went to the kitchen to get something for Nathan to drink.
"I'm okay," Nathan said as he turned down a cup of tea Clayton handed to him.
"I thought my father was an antique dealer. What does that have to do with vampires and demons?"
"That was one of his many jobs. The family on the other hand has only one job, to hunt monsters," Clayton explained.
"I have one question, why? Why do something that dangerous?" Nathan asked with a frown.
"Come with me, let me show you something," Nathan hesitated but followed him to the basement.
Clayton walked to a fuse box, opened it, and flipped several switches in a sequence. After they heard a click.
A hidden door slightly opened. Nathan walked over and pulled it open with both hands. Behind the three-inch steel door was a world.
There were screens everywhere each displaying information of every kind. There was also a server farm in the same room.
"What is this?" Nathan asked.
