Screen 1
Buried beneath the heavy sand, Sonic felt the pressure closing in around him. For a moment, he thought he might actually die there in the desert.
Just then, Miss All Sunday, Nico Robin, arrived and rescued Luffy before the sand could bury him completely. Pell also appeared nearby, having somehow survived his earlier encounter.
Luffy slowly got back up, brushing sand off himself. His stomach growled loudly.
"Do you have any meat?" Luffy asked immediately.
Nearby, Sonic coughed and pushed himself up from the sand. His throat felt completely dry from the desert and the sandstorm.
"Forget meat," Sonic said weakly. "Do you have any water?"
Screen 2
After recovering, Luffy and Sonic regrouped with the rest of the crew. Vivi explained that the civil war in Alabasta was about to reach the capital, and they needed to stop it before the fighting destroyed the kingdom.
The crew quickly discussed a plan. They decided to split up and create diversions across the city so that Vivi could move safely and try to reach the rebel army.
Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Nami, and Chopper prepared to face the Baroque Works agents who were already inside Alubarna.
Luffy clenched his fist. "I'm going after Crocodile again."
Sonic stood beside him and nodded. "Yeah. This time we finish it."
Screen 3
Crocodile appeared on the roof of the Alubarna palace, looking down at the chaos spreading across the capital. He confidently told everyone that he had already defeated Luffy and Sonic earlier in the desert.
He then revealed the true reason behind his plan. Crocodile was searching for Pluton, an ancient weapon said to have the power to destroy entire islands. To find it, he needed the information hidden within a Poneglyph somewhere in Alabasta.
He also explained that once everything was ready, he planned to fire cannons into the battlefield below, destroying both the royal army and the rebel army at the same time.
Suddenly, Sonic stepped forward and looked directly at Crocodile.
"So you want power strong enough to destroy islands," Sonic said. "And you still think you'll become King?"
Screen 4
Sonic rushed forward to confront Crocodile on the palace rooftop. The desert wind swirled around them as the battle began.
Crocodile turned his body into sand, easily avoiding several of Sonic's fast attacks. Sonic dashed around him again and again, striking from different directions, but Crocodile's sand powers made it difficult to land a solid hit.
Below them, the Alabasta Elite Force tried to rescue the king. They drank a special liquid that temporarily gave them great strength, but the power came at a terrible cost to their bodies.
Chaka transformed into his powerful dog-like form and charged at Crocodile, trying to stop him. But Crocodile defeated him with ease, knocking him aside without much effort.
At the same time, Koza began to realize the truth about the situation as the battle in the city continued.
Just then, Luffy suddenly returned to the battlefield, ready to challenge Crocodile again.
Screen 5
The battle between Sonic and Crocodile continued across the palace rooftop. Sonic dashed forward again and again, striking with incredible speed, but Crocodile's sand body kept shifting to avoid direct damage.
Meanwhile, Koza, the leader of the Rebel Army, finally confronted Crocodile and realized the truth — Crocodile had been the one secretly causing all of Alabasta's suffering.
Koza tried to stop the battle between the royal army and the rebels, shouting for everyone to stop fighting. But before he could calm the situation, a hidden Baroque Works agent shot him, causing chaos to spread across the battlefield again.
At that moment, Luffy suddenly returned to the palace. Having survived Crocodile's earlier attack, he arrived just in time to catch Vivi as she nearly fell during the chaos.
Standing beside Sonic again, Luffy faced Crocodile with determination as the fight continued.
Screen 6
The rest of the crew finally arrived at the palace after defeating their Baroque Works opponents across the city. Seeing the chaos on the rooftop, they gathered behind Vivi while Luffy and Sonic stood facing Crocodile.
Luffy revealed the secret he had discovered during their earlier fight. Crocodile could not turn his body into sand when it was wet.
Luffy carried a water tank on his back and kept soaking his hands so his punches could actually hit Crocodile.
Sonic quickly understood the idea. He dipped his gloves into the water as well.
With his hands wet, Sonic dashed forward at incredible speed and struck Crocodile before he could turn into sand.
The attack forced Crocodile backward as Luffy followed with another powerful punch.
For the first time in the battle, Crocodile was forced to defend himself against their attacks.
