As the Going Merry sailed away from Alabasta, a surprising figure appeared on the deck. It was Nico Robin, formerly known as Miss All Sunday.
She calmly explained that Luffy and Sonic had saved her life during the battle with Crocodile, and because of that she decided to join their crew.
The Straw Hats reacted with surprise.
Sonic looked at her carefully for a moment.
"I don't fully trust you yet," Sonic said calmly. "But you did help us before."
He crossed his arms and added, "So… I guess it's fifty-fifty."
Screen 2
Soon after leaving Alabasta, new bounty posters spread across the seas. The World Government increased the bounties on the Straw Hat crew.
Luffy's bounty rose to 100,000,000 berries, Zoro's to 60,000,000 berries, and Sonic's new bounty became 48,000,000 berries.
Usopp stared at Sonic's poster and shouted, "Hey! You're already worth forty-eight million?!"
Nami crossed her arms and said, "Your speed probably scared the Marines."
Sonic looked at the poster and shrugged. "Guess they're starting to notice."
Just then, strange wooden debris suddenly fell from the sky, followed by the shadow of a massive ship crashing into the sea.
The crew looked up in shock.
Nico Robin calmly examined the situation and said, "Our Log Pose is pointing upward."
She then added quietly, "It seems our next destination might be a Sky Island."
Screen 3
Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Sonic arrived at Mock Town on Jaya Island to gather information about the mysterious Sky Island. The town was full of rough pirates who laughed at anyone who believed such a place existed.
When Luffy and Zoro asked about it, several pirates began mocking them and even started a fight.
Luffy and Zoro chose not to fight back, quietly taking the hits while standing their ground.
Sonic watched the scene with visible annoyance.
He clenched his fists slightly but didn't jump into the fight.
"Seriously… these guys are irritating," Sonic muttered, but he stayed back, respecting Luffy and Zoro's decision not to respond.
