I've been training relentlessly for this day as it's the first hurdle. Recently the JSDF reached out to mother and Aunt Miya about me and Tatsuya. Honestly, all these years training in the Yotsuba clan have bought out a more dominant side of me. A desire to see my enemies brought low before me and crushed beneath my boot. I would think I was turning into a dragon if I didn't know I had no dragon seed. I honestly should've expected this if there is one thing the Yotsuba respect its power, unless your Tatsuya. Honestly the whole fearing Tatsuya thing is kinda reasonable though. Before, the surgery he would honestly just be one bad day away from disintegrating a bunch of people, and he still is if you mess with Miyuki. Kuros gotten better at not clinging to me in public. Which is a good thing she is much stronger than a regular human a casual punch from her can shatter a mahogany desk. I'm glad I'm inhumanly durable due to dragon slayer magic requiring a strong body to use effectively. Still doesn't make a hug from her any less crushing.
Mother said when I join up with JSDF i will not be using an alias like Tatsuya, and I will be allowed to use my magic freely. That was fine by me. I'm also glad I won't have to care about killing anyone as the yotusba's already made both me do that so it wouldn't hinder me later… at least the used criminals for that and not innocent bystanders. The council of the ten master clans were also formed a while back so that happens too. I get along well with the younger clan head candidates. Maybe it's because I'm not one on the account of not sharing blood. So they don't feel threatened by miyuki seems to appreciate the fact that I along with the Kuroba twins don't hate Tatsuya.
We arrived August 4th. It was a nice villa. We went out on a boat saw saw some seas life. Then the torpedos and the attempted abduction came. Thankfully Tatsuya did his disassembly trick on the torpedos so the submarine retreated. Weird side note Taysuya has trouble seeing me with his elemental sight as I am, according to him, blurry when he looks at me with it. We immediately started heading back to shore Mother pulled some strings and now we're heading to the JSDF Base. The major difference between now and canon is Mother, Kuro and I are here but mother says she'll stay and help guard the base. Her subtle way of telling me to show off. We arrived at the base and were led into a room
"Welcome esteemed members of the Yotsuba clan I am Captain Haronobu Kazama." Said the man.
"At ease soldier these 4 will be assisting in your efforts I will be here to assist your guarding of the base and to protect my sister and her daughter." Maya said gestureing to me, Kuro, Tatsuya, and Honami. In a tone that forbid any refusal
"I see I will take them to be trained until till the enemy arrives." Captain Kazama replied
"No need for these three only Tatsuya truly needs the training as he has… trouble using most magic." Said Maya
As he was about to retort infiltrators from the G.A.U. Burst into the room only to be quickly turned into Swiss cheese by Mothers Intrinsic magic, Meteor stream. Yeah, I forgot mothers magic was intrinsic too I'm just gonna stop caring about that too, also all intrinsic magic is pretty bullshit op I've noticed it varies though.
'I'm probably the only one who could survive getting hit by that and that only due to the innate magic resistance my magic gives me. I doubt I could react in time to consume it.' I thought it was the first time I truly saw her magic in action.
"Well now that the uninvited guests are out of the way. Lead I will be handling these four off to you now. Ryu give those G.A.U bastards hell." Said Maya as she stood up and followed a soldier, whom I was pretty sure was Second-Lieutenant Sanada, Miya and Miyuki followed her.
"Captain Kazama I know my mother said that Me Kuro and Honami wouldn't need training, but I would like to at least observe. I'd like to know the skill of whom I'm going to be fighting beside." I said
"That's fine. You seem quiet mature for you age as well. I'd like to ask my own question though if it's not too much trouble? Asked Kazama
"Go ahead." I said
"Why does that girl have dog ears and a tail?" He asked
I mentally stumbled. I was so used to being around Kuro, and not leaving the clan village I forgot that was not normal. Making artificial humans and genetic modification aren't exactly looked upon too kindly.
'What was the excuse mother said to use oh yeah now I remember'
"It's a side effect of her intrinsic magic" I said not technically lying as her magic did have something to do with her animal traits.
"Ah that makes sense I've heard it's possible for have side effects but it's not common then again intrinisc magic isn't exactly common either." He said.
Mentally, I laughed at that considering three people in front of him and my mother all had it Tatsuya had two for god sake.
"First-lieutenant Yanagi take them to the training area." He said a man walked over to show us the way.
"Oh and before I forget Tatsuya Shiba from here on out as long as you are in the JSDF the name you will go by is Ryuya Oguro, understood?" He said as we were being led out the room
"Understood captain." Said Tatsuya
'I've just realized how quiet he's been. I kinda miss presurgery Tatsuya he didn't talk much either but it was still more than this.
The training area was what you would expect I was 100% sure I could body these soldiers with out my magic let alone Kuro. She'd manhandle the biggest heaviest peroson hear like he was child. Not to say these guys were weak though me and Kuro are just that strong doesn't help that are magic passively makes us have to be physically stronger as a requirement. Honami wasn't training as her specialty was barrier type magic and she was not joking the JSDF like the rest of were.
'Welp, while we were watching Tatsuya fight trained soldiers in the name of training. I wondered how long till we have to fight. It will probably end the same way. Even with how destructive Dragon slayer magic is I don't currently have the same destructive out put as Tatsuya yet. His decompision is so fucking broken. Well all we can do is wait.' I thought as time passed and the battle neared
Authors note: Alrighty battle of Okinawa officially starts next chapter it gonna violent the chapter after we're gonna skip ahead again to near canon not a lot happens before canon honestly.
Ps. if you don't know the time line or haven't been keeping track Ryu, Tatsuya, and Kuro are 12 the attack on Okinawa happens in 2092 and canon starts in 2095
PPS Tatsuya's dad is an ass bro remarried less than a year after his wife died I don't remember if it was said but he must have been cheating on her. Which is stupid Miya is 200% hotter than their step mom. (The reason I won't give the bastard screen time yet until his one scene in canon that i can remember) feel free to comment and put suggestions out their.
