Chapter 29 - A Shameless Pervert

Krisha grabbed the door knob and realized they were locked.

Her eyebrows creased and she knocked on the door.

She waited for five seconds until the door was opened.

She complained, "What took you so long?"

Felix was speechless. Krisha pushed the door towards him as she entered inside and inspected it.

Felix gazed at her back and his heart skipped a beat when he realized she was wearing casual clothes.

She wore shorts that exposed her milky-white legs and sleeveless shirt that revealed the straps of her bra and her flawless shoulder.

Staring at her, Felix even forgot to blink.

Krisha turned around and was about to say something when he realized Felix was staring at her in a daze, specifically on her shoulder.

She then realized she was wearing casual clothes and rolled her eyes.

"First time?"

Felix was taken aback. He coughed. "First time seeing your attitude who complained ceaselessly."

Krisha rolled her eyes.

She forgot what she was about to say earlier, so she turned around and sat on Felix's bed.

Crossing her legs and arms, she asked, "So, what do you want to talk about?"

Felix couldn't help but stare at the part of the bed where she dropped her butt.

He then stared at her eyes as though nothing happened, and replied, "Well, I actually won't teach you my sword technique."

Krisha's right eyebrows raised.

Felix immediately followed up. "But, I will teach you a sword technique perfect for you."

"But yours is better, right?"

"Well, it's compatible with me because of the sword I've summoned. If you practice my sword technique, you won't be able to progress further since it will conflict with your affinity. Since you've summoned a beast with ice elemental affinity, my sword technique related to water affinity will definitely dull your progress.

Furthermore, it's not just a sword technique, it's a sword art. So, you'll be able to learn more sword technique the higher the rank you've achieved."

Krisha's eyes widened. She found it difficult to believe that Felix was in possession of such valuable knowledge.

She was silent for a while and asked in a solemn tone, "I assume you get it from the sword, right? Is the spirit of the sword communicating with you?"

Felix was stunned. He was silent for a while.

"Y-Yeah, in a sense."

Krisha didn't pursue why he stammered in response.

She simply asked, "What is the name of the sword art?"

Felix said, "It's called Frozen Vein Sword Art. It's really suited for you."

Krisha pondered for a while. She asked, "So, what should I do to learn that?"

Felix replied, "You must learn the first stage, which is called Frost Initiation. There are two techniques you'll learn, focusing on sword and foot work respectively. The Frostline Cut and White Step, each of them consist of three levels.

For you to learn them requires you to understand the sword art's philosophy and practice the exercises everyday.

Can you give me some time? I'll turn it into a book as a guide for you."

Krisha nodded. "But, I'm curious, why did you lie to Master Shen?"

Felix was silent for a while and replied, "I don't want them to learn that I produced a sword art perfect for you."

Krisha rolled her eyes. "You know, you're smart, smarter than me, but you're often dumb. Did you think Master Shen wouldn't notice that I practice a sword art completely different from yours?"

Felix's eyes widened. He was completely dumbfounded.

Krisha rolled her eyes and shrugged. "Whatever, since that's your reason, I'll just tell them that we managed to create a sword art perfect for me due to the incompatibility of affinity from your sword art to my physique."

Felix heaved a sigh of relief. He nodded. "Alright. Thank you for that.

By the way, I have forgotten to ask Master Shen earlier or Instructor Arlo, but do you think it's fine if I practice outside tonight. I'd rather breathe fresh air than in this room."

"I'm not sure if there's a curfew in the Residential Wing. You can try asking that arlo later if you plan to practice tonight.

And don't forget to write my sword art. You are not allowed to be deprived of sleep, either. We still have to register ourselves as Beast Tamer… Though, I don't know about your case."

Felix nodded.

Felix and Krisha talked for some time until it was already 5 pm. They thought about watching the Mist Courtyard Ramble but they instantly discarded it when they realized they wouldn't see anything but fog, nonetheless.

Krisha proposed wandering more around the Azure Cleave Dojo, but Felix rejected her politely, saying he wanted to meditate early and practice later tonight.

Krisha then finally thought about the beast quarter for PengPeng—the latter needed a place for him.

Hence, Krisha bid farewell to Felix, leaving the latter alone in his room, standing at the door after closing it.

He glanced at where Krisha sat for an hour and finally decided to walk towards it.

He kneeled in front of his bed and kept staring at the crumpled part of his bed where Krisha sat.

He slowly moved his face forward and was about to sniff the crumpled blanket when the door suddenly creaked, causing Felix to freeze.

Fuck! How could I forget to lock it?

"As expected, you're a pervert."

Krisha's voice echoed.

Felix's heart skipped a beat. He continued to stare at the crumpled part of the bed and suddenly grabbed it to fix it. He rubbed his palms in one motion to finalize tidying the bed.

He turned towards him and asked, "What did you just say?"

Krisha rolled her eyes. She was currently bending her body to enter inside the door, covering his lower half, but PengPeng was also seemingly peeking like her.

She said, "Don't deny it. You're too obvious. Do you even need to kneel just to tidy the bed?"

"Yes," replied Felix with a straight face.

Krisha mocked. "Shameless."
